Snack Bar Tickets.
As before, we can purchase snack bar tickets to pass out to the kids.
This year they are $1 each.
We need to decide as a team exactly what we do here (Jenny Forward is our coordinator for this).
Tickets are ordered ahead of time and can be picked up on Feb 21 (field day) or March 7th (opening day).  They cannot be purchased at the snack bar.

Cookie Dough Fundraiser
I received the forms as well as a list of those who have already bought out.
I have passed this onto our Fundraiser Coordinator (Jenny Forward).
They request 7 items sold per player.
Forms due on Opening Day (March 7).  Jenny will probably want it a bit earlier to put it all together.
The cookie dough will be passed out on March 21 (2 weeks after opening day)
Jenny Forward is in charge of this.

Publicity (game results for the newspapers)
I have a writeup on how publicity should be handled.
It says that the head scorekeeper usually does this.

Sponsorships
The team gets $125 for each sponsorship that can be used for equipment, team party, names on shirts, etc.
They are due February 28 to make sure the banner will be available.
See me for forms.

Raffle Basket
Due March 1
I have a writeup for the coordinator (lists required markings, etc.)
Jenifer Mello will collect $20 per family.

Umpires
We will hire youth umpires.  The cost will be about $33 per family.

Picture Day
Picture day is March 7 (opening day)
Time for our team is 1:55pm.  Please be there by 1:40.
Trish Puso is in charge of this for our team.  She will provide you with the forms.

Opening Day
Show up between 7:00 and 8:00.
Wear the full uniform.  Bring your glove.
We might have a game on opening day.
See opening day schedule below

No Dogs at the fields
As always, no dogs are permitted on or by the fields (including the stands).
This is a school rule.  You can use the dog park, but you must be with your dog.  They didn't say anything about ostriches, rinos, or bulls.

Rainouts
Check the Granada Little League web site or call 866-6003 to check on the game status on rainy days.
Games may be called after we get there, however.

Muddy Days
Please do not go on the fields if they are muddy.  This messes them up.

Safety near the snackbar
No Scooters, Bikes, or Skateboards in the snack bar area (including the area between fields 1 and 2).
There have been accidents there and it gets very crowded.

Snack Shack Buyout and working
There was a requirement to pay the $20 for the snack shack buyout at the time of registration
However, there was some confusion on the board at the first registration date.  Some people were told it was an option, so some have yet not paid.
They know who you are, and will be sending a SWAT team to your house.  If you see people repelling out of helicopters into your back yard, get your checkbook out.

If you want to work and get your $20 back, that can be done.  You will need to work a total of 2 hours for the full $20.
Let me know if you are interested and I will hook you up with the right people.

With the buyout method they have this year, we do not need to do any scheduling or anything with the snackbar, except if you want to work.
There are no "assigned times" for teams.

Code of Conduct Form
A Code of Conduct form must be signed for each player.  Mike has emailed these forms.  It must be signed by a parent and returned to him.

Little League Day with the A's.
